I am filled with profound sense of exaltation while introducing
the GOOD SHEPHERD IHM and the force behind it.
Since it’s
humble beginning in 2002 we are in our 6th year
of Operation. Good Shepherd IHM has developed
into a Reputed Institution for Hospitality
Education, which is comparable with the Best in
The Country. Students flock here to study from
all across India as well as our neighboring
countries too.
Director
Alvin Lama brings with him over 15 years of
experience in this field. Having set up Hotel
Management Colleges in East, West and South
India where he held Senior Management Positions
in the past. I would like to commend him for his
pioneering and entrepreneurial Endeavour to
promote Professional Education in the Hills of
Darjeeling. It is remarkable that in a short
time Good Shepherd is now a reputed name in the
Hotel Industry of India. Our young budding
talents are sought after by employers not only
in India but also abroad. All this has added to
his repertoire as an academician and has earned
accolades for the same. In 2007 Good Shepherd
received Two Prestigious National Awards for
Education and Social Leadership.
