All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, there is more to life at GSIHM than just Class Room, we believe in “WORK HARD AND PARTY HARDER”. Regular functions and Parties are organized by the College to help unwind. “Foundation Day “ is celebrated every year and so is the Fresher Welcome and Farewell functions, not to forget the annual Prize Distribution Day with much fan fare. Picnics, nature walks Excursions and study Tours are part of life at GSIHM. GSIHM has it’s own Rock Band and musical Talents are encouraged.  The Culinary Club of GSIHM organizes monthly Theme Parties and Food Fares, the club has recently started a T.V Cookery Show “ Cooking with Good Shepherd “ a very popular T.V show within the Gourmet Circle here.

Our Annual 3 days International Food Fest “ razzmatazz” is the biggest and the most talked about festival of it’s kind in the entire Eastern Himalayan Belt where the guests can savor more than 150 delicacies with stage performances by the best bands in India and international Dance Troupes. The entire event is planned and managed by the students, as they put into practice what ever they have learnt.
