Hospitality Administration – from Indira
Gandhi National Open University, Govt of
India, New Delhi. The Degree course is
conducted in academic collaboration with
the American Hotel & Lodging educational
Institute, Orlando Florida USA.
IGNOU is a Central Govt
University, unlike other IGNOU courses this
BAIHA programme is conducted on a full time
basis and is the Best available course on
Hospitality, Catering and Hotel Management
in the country. It is twinning Degree
programme. Upon successful completion of the
course the students will receive a Degree
from IGNOU and also International Diploma
from AH&LA USA. This being a 3 years full
time course, with 6 months compulsory 5 star
Hotel Training Indian and Bhutanese star
Hotels. Qualification 10 + 2 passed or
awaiting results in 2009, any stream with
preferably 50% marks with good command over
English. Jobs will be provided in top 5 star
Hotels, airlines, Cruise Ships etc. by the
college on successful completion of the
course. GSIHM has Girls Hostel, boys are
facilitated with PG accommodation. Course
fee is Rs 63000 per year. Scholarship of Rs.
20000 per year will be granted for admission
before 30th April 2007. Only 40 seats per
year. Excellent scope for Job, Promotion and
Higher studies .

Apart from this Degree Good
Shepherd also offers professional diploma
courses from 6 months to 3 years. Students
with lesser qualification can take up 6
months or 1 year course. So many satisfied
Bhutanese students are our Alumni who are

there is almost all leading hotels spread
across Bhutan. Good Shepherd has received 4
National Awards for Education from New
Delhi, 2 awards in 2007 and 2 awards in
